Madeline Alesia Joins Board Staff
No stranger to the Lake County workforce development system, Madeline “Maddie” Alesia has now joined the Board staff as Project Lead Planner. We are thrilled to have Maddie on the team and recently sat down for a chat to get to know her a bit better.
LCWDB: What are you most excited about in your new role?
MA: I am most excited about the new projects and events that I will be able to contribute to, as well as getting to collaborate with different teams.
LCWDB: How has your prior work experience helped prepare you for this new position?
MA: My previous work experience, whether that may be customer service or communications based, has provided me with a lot of both personal and professional skills that I think can bring a lot to the table, creatively and efficiently.
LCWDB: What is one of your proudest accomplishments in workforce development?
MA: My proudest accomplishment in Workforce Development so far is being a part of Workforce Development. It is so rewarding and impactful to be a part of an organization whose mission is to give to others in the community, and I am lucky to be in a position where I can do the same.
LCWDB: What advice would you give to other young adults looking to advance their career?
MA: My advice to other young adults would be to not worry about what everyone else is doing and worry about the impact that you want to make. Not everyone’s career paths look the same, and it is okay to trial-and-error new things in order to make it to where you want to be.
LCWDB: What is one fun fact people may be surprised to know about you?
MA: I am a HUGE Carolina Panthers fan!
Join us in welcoming Maddie to the team!
